Fellows - £7M makes you wonder what the problem is? 13:29 - Aug 28 with 1334 viewsBellevue_Blue

Either a lot of evaluators are very unconvinced or there is something we don't know about.

- Why have West Brom let him go for so little with two years left on his deal?
- Why was there no PL interest at that price?

Think he could be one of those that looks good in the championship but doesn’t have the physicality for the premier league.

There's a balance to be had here.

A lot of talk about Johnson not really being good enough for the RB position (I'd argue he's done OK this season, certainly going forward). So, whilst it's a position that isn't as urgent to address as, say, a striker. Upgrading what we have in the RB position is sensible.

This gives us Furlong, Johnson (assuming he stays) and Young plus Davis to cover both the RB and LB positions - that seems sensible.

As for £7m, he's 29 and in his prime, a shrewd Champ operator for sure and a signing that gives us options/ cover/ experience and is an upgrade on what we have.

This is also, somewhat, the market as well.
