Woolfenden Good Riddance! 12:55 - Sep 1 with 9767 views | ThatMuhrenCross | Probably will be my least missed member of the back-to-back group. Arrogant, lazy, constantly bickering with fans, vocal about how he’s not actually a Ipswich fan despite being a local lad, pushed for a move when we were at our lowest, supporting Downes when he downed tools, supporting Omari when he did the same, and then petulant cryptic social media posts like we saw the other day. Add to that, he’s a decidedly average defender that was carried by the rest of the team. Yeah, he can ping a pass, but even at that he’s not as good as O’Shea. Thinks he’s something that he’s not. Won’t be missed.

Woolfenden Good Riddance! on 20:05 - Oct 8 with 555 views | DavoIPB | He really isn't the best defender and we shipped loads of goals when he was in defence. O'Shea is a big upgrade so agree with you there. Slow and ponderous on the ball so not sure where the ball playing defender comes from. Also O'Shea much better positional awareness and much stronger. So agree with you there as well. It's very unprofessional to go on social media and post your grievance with your employer. Having said that for championship he was an okay defender and will do well at Coventry.

Woolfenden Good Riddance! on 23:45 - Oct 8 with 395 views | darkhorse28 | Nothing cryptic. He didn’t like the inconsistency of the gaffer having players he’d play irrespective of form. In terms of the defence, I think 90% of fans would make him right…., Burgess had some outstanding displays and was then dropped, multiple times too, Wolf too, didn’t matter how he played, he was always second choice after OShea signed. McKenna is the only opinion that counts, think maybe McKenna might acknowledge it as mistake now too though…, because it does suck motivation from a group when everyone can see it’s not a meritocracy. Interesting to see Tuchal is going down the play we’ll keep the shirt route, and it motivating some top top players to uo their game or miss out. Bellingham and Foden …, they don’t get a shirt unless they’re at their very best, it’s that simple. We lost that last year…, trying to validate expensive signings, who in greaves case is also a bit younger too, rather than stick with players running through walls and taking their chance. Would we have done better sticking with Burgess.., well we wouldn’t have stayed up, but we’d have done better, couldn’t literally have done worse. No point arguing who’s best, not much between any of them at this level - but we’d didn’t get a big upgrade for big investment, that’s certain.., the jury is in, it’s been over a year.., and Kipre looks like he’ll keep Greaves out for a run.., or should. Will be a good test of if McKenna had learned the lesson. FAR more motivating for the whole group…, including Greaves to see Kiore rewarded. It will focus minds and give belief to those not playing..and in a long championship seasons, that’s exactly what we need. We will need 22 players plus this season to make big contributions …, and that means engagement of everyone. You run through walls…., you keep the shirt!!! That used to be 101 of management. McKenna lost his way last season motivating the group.., Wolf and the silence of EVERY legacy player when they left about McKenna says it loud and clear. I do think he’s maybe learnt that lesson though…, we find out a week on Friday. Does McKenna learn, is he even vaguely elite.., I think he will go Kipre .., it’s the only decision that a good manager would makes

Never mind ArnieM, how did you rate Woolfy? I thought he was a good defender, 7/10, and felt hurt at being left out after putting in good performances. Wish him all the very best (except when playing us, obvs).

"the silence of EVERY legacy player when they left about McKenna says it loud and clear." You obviously didn't take any note of Sam Morsy's leaving statement then....can't say I'm surprised
