Hold your nerve time on 18:26 - Sep 1 by BloomBlue | It has busted one myth. Last season some fans moaned KM was too nice and he should be throwing hair dryers, kicking bins etc. "He's too nice, to make the tough choices" was seen as a negative. This window has demonstrated his ruthless streak, and the too nice myth totally busted. |
Personally don't think half the players that have left was because KM wanted them too tbh.

He doesn’t turn into a bad manager overnight, give the guy a break with a new squad , I for one think he will prove the doubters wrong ……keep the faith .

May not be a bad coach overnight. But we've had over a year of KM squad building and at present the jury is out on that side of things.

There is a limit to the size of squad we can have and it has been clear he has wanted to bring in players. Of course, he would have wanted Delap and Hutchinson to stay but the others are the result of where they stood in McKenna's plans as much as anything.

Hold your nerve time on 18:18 - Sep 1 by seblue78 | This is the point we keep coming back to. KM is trying to build a team to compete in the prem. Woolfie wasn’t going to sit and be 4th choice so it was the right thing to do, and it’s seems obvious that a 30+ chappers isn’t what we need. We have to trust KM who will live and die by these decisions as he should. When u come back down to earth and reflect on that team, when fit and firing, its potential is massive. We just need a bit of time and luck now 🤞🏼 |
I thought I read somewhere earlier that Chappers is only 28? Lovely player and could be a clever option this season, but his strengths came from how well the last team was working together and his size and lack of pace effectively rule him out of a Premier League season next year. So getting the new lads integrated - Egeli, Akpom, McAteer, Azon is probably more important, plus there's Szmodics to get firing again.

Hold your nerve time on 18:28 - Sep 1 by blueoutlook | This team aren’t a Prem team. The balance is all wrong. The players are too lightweight, they can’t grasp Mckennas tactics. He has had most of them a year and still they are clueless on what he wants. We are an expensive bunch of misfits. |
Agree. Building a team for the premier league wont be a team capable of getting us out of the championship, they're two different things as clearly demonstrated on Saturday.

It’s been complete for about 2 hours. And you have written it off already. Without a game being played with the newly completed squad. Awesome positivity dude.

In what way is it a mess? It's strong in almost all areas. Need to let KM work now.
