I don't think I have ever attended a football match drunk, and have been going for over 45 years, for the same reason I wouldn't at the theatre, the cinema or concert. Always feel it would detract from my enjoyment of the event.
That being said, possibly would have numbed the pain in many of the seasons . . . |  | | |
