I’m giving the lads a free pass today, I don’t think we were great but from minute one it was pretty impossible to play a lot of normal football. Second half especially, you just can’t play when the ball is getting stuck in puddles.
We do need to cut out the errors though, that CB pairing are going to give away a lot of goals if that carries on.
I thought the atmosphere was pretty terrible in the ground, home fans especially, but I guess it’s to be expected given the weather.
A very wet and horrible day in Lancashire. Glad I am home already and finally dry! Hopefully that will get replayed and we stuff em 0-3.
Side note - WTF was the point of those blokes with their pitch forks while it was still hammering down? Like ringing a sponge while the tap is still running [Post edited 20 Sep 21:15]

If it’s the incident I remember, it resulted in him running past a stationary ball that he’d just tried to play forward. It would have been comical if it wasn’t such in indictment of the state of the pitch. Not fit to play football on. |  | | |

Grow some standards.., our club deserves so much better the you piss poor apathy and gutter standards…, we used to be a proud club.
