I can't get my head around things like this - I was going to say 'anti-science' but then I'm prejudging a motivation which I just don't understand, literally.
I'm confused by it and it really makes me feel like I'm a different species or something. I really struggle dealing with people who aren't fundamentally honest, even people who are just almost what you might call 'normally' deceitful and manipulative - I can't handle it, it devalues everything for me, from personal relationships to international diplomacy, and it doesn't do the deceiver any favours as far as I can see, not in terms of the true currency of their happiness anyway.
So what are these loons like Tr*mp actually up to?
a. Are you saying it's dogmatic religious claptrap coming up against science and they actually believe in what they're doing over cold hard evidence?
b. Or are they trying to kill off the masses while they secretly carry on benefiting from things that they publicly disavow?
c. Are they just mad?

His speech was disgraceful.
Not only was it unscientific but he's followed RJKs lead in attempting to undermine the MMR vaccine at a time when measles is making a comeback in the US.
A vaccine that has repeatedly been proven safe and the doctor who cast doubt on it was struck off for falsifying data.
He also looked to undermine the Hepatitis vaccine.
There was a good documentary the BBC last night on Disease X which really highlights why we need to be scientific about discussions and not look to undermine effective treatments thus we could be in real trouble if something nasty comes along.
