Peanut Butter - food of the gods!! 08:54 - Sep 29 with 1709 viewsKeno

I'm not sure this has ever been raised on here before but I thought I try something different last week and picked up a jar of Whole Earth Crunchy Peanut Butter

OMG!! how nice and why the feck havent anyone of you lot told me about this before!!

Good as a spread on bread, apparently apple and peanut butter make a 'banging' sarnie

Also can use a 'cheat' for quick satay sauce which I may try later

Try it and thank me, this may just change your lives

For the ultimate munchies yer gonna need to add at least litre of chocolate milkshake, a packet of Tunnocks Teacakes and a couple of brownies

Can't remember the chain but some 24hr garages used to sell these filthy onion bhajee subs, which were great.

Reminds me I haven't made no-bake Peanut Butter Squares for a while...1 part Golden Syrup, 1 part melted Butter, 2 parts Peanut Butter, 2 parts crushed up Rich Tea biscuits all mixed together and pressed into a tray, and then topped with 1 part melted Dark Chocolate.

Put in the fridge to firm up and set the chocolate; goes particularly well with a nice cup of tea, but mainly with a 20 mile bike ride unless you want to put on a sh1tload of weight

I read that as whiskey, or should that be whisky

It's whiskey in Ireland and whisky in Scotland but did you know that Jameson's was started by a Scotsman, John Jameson, who founded his eponymous distillery in Dublin in 1780?

I am about to take your breakfast to a whole new level...

Make porridge with your choice of milk.

Add a tablespoon of good quality peanut butter. I like crunchy rather than smooth, but that is up to you.

Stir in well.

Remove from heat.

Spoon into bowl.

Drizzle Maple Syrup.

(Can be pimped with either fresh Blueberries or Raspberries. An alternative is to lightly warm through some halved Strawberries with a sprinkling of cinnamon.)

Imagine Nigella's face while she eats that!

Creamy, Salty, Sweet, Sticky, Crunchy.

All the good things!
