A fair few of our big name players just not offering enough. Akpom, Nunez, Azon and especially McAteer. Wes Burns with a ruined ACL offers more than him.

Difficult when we’re playing that poorly against a team worth about a tenth of ours.

So there are no positives. Fair enough.

You mention team worth. That means given our team cost more than most of the others that unless we win the next 39 games 5-0 you will be disappointed and see no positives. If this team gets promoted and loses 5-0 every week you won’t be disappointed and see positives because our team will be worth a 10th of everybody else’s.

I’m amazed. I had no idea sport was so simple.

Our team wouldn’t be worth a 10th though.., and that’s the issue .., relative to resources.

We’re in the top 12 clubs in EUROPE for spending in the last 18 months - let that sink in, in the context of results and performances.

There’s no world (in football) where that’s sustainable or acceptable, over a 16 month period, it’s not form is it.

Doesn’t make McKenna terrible, but it’s clear he was never the messiah.., and that’s on those that attached their self esteem to one man, and their ego can’t process it.

You can’t keep digging and let the club burn!!

Actually ‘you can’ (ironically). What did Mick spend? Whom you SLAUGHTERED when he was better than this, on a shoe string.

McKenna swam the channel win Sam, Mass, Burgess, Chaplin, etc who he mostly didn’t sign.

We’re seeing exactly how good he is…, the tides gone out.

He’s paid a champions league salary for this, you can’t possibly think that’s the club spending money well, and nobody could do a better job, getting paid half his salary.

It’s ok being a very good coach, and a good but not elite and great manager, when aspirations are low. You’ve spent buttons, and you’re winning at a low level.

Spend £200 million, have double the resources of anyone in this division, and that expectation and this is really really poor…, lots of managers who also aren’t premier league level, would have got FAR more from this group in the last 18 months.

Sunderland, Burnley and Leeds have already put that argument to bed.

Do you know they’ve got MORE points in 6 games between them than the average of relegated teams last season, in an ENTIRE season.

Do you know how measurably pathetic our worst ever season looks? Forest made champions league (almost) spending the same as us.

Keep digging…, your ego is FAR more important than the clubs future.

Mckennna is god - if only because that’s what YOU decided in 2024. Sake.

Well thanks for your input... now back to football.

What would you do to start us gelling better? Serious question...

It’s the team that’s the issue. They’re not on the same wavelength. The farce at the end with the two wasted freekicks when nobody knew what was going on summed up the night perfectly (imperfectly).

Poll: Do you think Pert is key to all of this?
