It's just a game that we need to win to get the season motoring. Win and its 10 points from 12, 5 games unbeaten, still unbeaten at home, and it puts us in the pack of teams up at the top with a game in hand.

The derby bit would just be a bonus tbh.

The 16 years thing is pretty stupid.

We do need that win though to break that run. Takes one of the last little bits of comfort they are clinging to away from them.

The 16 years thing is pretty stupid. We do need that win though to break that run. Takes one of the last little bits of comfort they are clinging to away from them. But yes, the points are more important.

It’s not even 16 years. It’s 16 years, 5 months and 14 days. The silly sister fiddlers can’t even count properly. It must be down to the extra digits confusing them.

I'd add that i think a lot of my indifference is due to the fact we've hardly played them in recent years, so the rivalry just isn't there in the same way.

I used to love the Derby games in the 90s.

I'm pretty sure I'll love them again if we double them this season too, but hopefully we'll have another long spell without the games, albeit for better reasons.

We all do. No need to play down what it means, especially as we are going to win.

That said, 3 points are very important, it’s nice that game means more these days for our ambitions.
