So you're admitting, long before kick off, that we're good now?! Talk about a back-handed compliment. Made me smile, and made me think they were worried/resigned to not being the better team anymore.

The day/game had a strange feel to it, and i say that more about how i felt towards them, I didnt fear them at all, something that couldn't be said for the last X number of years.
It felt like they are now a complete mess, much like us in the Lambert days.
Bit of a side note, but when i look at Manning I feel such sadness for him, losing his little boy as he did, I almost want him to succeed for his own personal gain (maybe not with them though!) |  | | |

Was cycling home from Finsbury Park on Sunday morning in time to watch the match - passing through Hyde Park on the way I had to go past a tractor in the bike lane; do that journey 3 times a week and don't remember seeing one there before, so thought it was an omen  |  |

I knew it was going to be our day during the course of the week
Up in South Yorkshire we don't get to see too many tractors , I saw two that week on the roads in around Sheffield bizarrely
Midweek in a Whatsapp group I have with my two sons who live in Nottingham we were chatting about the game and my eldest asked if I still had the Matt Holland Number 8 shirt....I'd forgotten all about that shirt. My eldest is 32 now and a Dad himself but he remembered me having that shirt
Day of the game I got in the ground quite early as I fancied the FanZone which I'd never done ( and as a side note I thought it was great) . Anyway I was sat up in the Gods in the "Pioneer" but before I went up to my seat I went under the stand and went pitchside to get a closer look . Stood right in front of me was Matt Holland getting ready for ITV. Anyway I was thinking about that chat with my eldest Son when Matt looked over as I was looking at him and he said Hello
The day was always going to happen !!
For the record the guys who I happened to sit next to were as nervous as hell .... I predicted a 3-1 win |  |

I'm really not convinced he's a very good manager. Been sacked by Oxford, yes got 6th with Bristol City but was an atrocious division, then battered by a team in the playoffs thats now rock bottom..
Norwich one of the biggest spenders this summer, has the best striker in the division at his disposal and they look absolutely awful. |  | | |
