Oh how I laughed 15:32 - Oct 11 with 6708 views | Churchman | The Pinkun Forum. I had a quick look to see how the disappointment was going. It’s fair to say they are not entirely happy. The best though was the comments on Nunez. What happened with him has really got under their feathers. I quote: ‘For me this sale confirmed that the club is totally disconnected from its supporters (and I am a supporter because Elliot has told me I am 😀). The image of that little rat threading the pass that led to their third goal will stay with me for a long while. Don't get me started on the PR coup handed to that lot and the antics of the little rat after the game. I really find it hard to understand any Norwich City supporter defending this sale...........’ Oh dear, how sad, never mind.

We need to get on a good winning run before I can share the confidence. At the moment there is a lot of ground to make up but if we get winning regularly we will do so. Just need more Sheffield United performances without many Preston/Blackburn ones.

I know we should get ahead of ourselves, and we do need some consistent performances, but there’s not really that much ground to make up, if you consider the game in hand positively.

Potentially. I look at it as needing around 2 ppg over the season. We are currently 3 points behind that which means 3 wins in a row to be on target. Clearly, 2 wins and a draw repeated three times would do the trick as well. Ultimately, though, we need to be winning most of our matches and not losing many at all.

I don’t disagree with your metrics. Don’t overlook, however, the form table and we’re on 2.2ppg for the last 5 games. Continue as we are, and we’ll be more than in the mix - and we’re not even the finished article yet.

Now that’s some statement coming from them …….Uppa Towen.

I thought he said seven, but you've presumably calibrated for base 12 counting?

Oh how I laughed on 11:06 - Oct 12 by NthQldITFC | It didn't feel particularly big to me before the game (not like previous seasons) and, whilst it was nice, it doesn't really hold much importance now. On to Boro and bigger things like catching up Coventry and really imposing our nicely developing team on the Championship for the rest of this season. I think, as in recent seasons apart from last, most of our goals will come from the supporting forwards - that's just how it works for the well-oiled, one up top, machine that KMc is busy upgrading at the moment. |
Not sure you are a real supporter ? Or is it that you miss important parts of following football teams ? Norwich are our great rivals. Where I live on the border there is ONLY this game. There is no other. I agree it gets only 3 points. But what three points !!?? You clearly live in a Budgie free zone. Happy you. Now on to Boro. But do not to reduce the Norwich game to just another 3 points. It was THE 3 points of the season. [Post edited 14 Oct 18:52]

I can empathise with what you're saying, and from time to time I have been / will be rabidly anti-Budgie. What I was trying to get across though is that it feels like we are so far ahead of them as a club that it didn't feel quite such a big thing to me as it certainly would have done a few years ago. If we'd lost though, or even drawn, I would have been proper rancid.

Ooops that’s hair splitting 6/7 who cares but it was a daming statement against their own club was it not .
Oh how I laughed on 17:01 - Oct 14 with 313 views | SamWhiteUK | I've just wandered over there. There was a great thread about the Nunez programme cover and them all trying to convince themselves they didn't care. One of them trying to say it was a bad painting, while simultaneously another said it was just a photo that had been run through a filter

I see what you are on about. But it is important to see the deed, the win, before they will admit the dominance. If I was in their place I would too.
