My only moan about last night 12:05 - Oct 18 with 1237 views | madmouse1959 | Why did not McKenna play the best team from the beginning ? We were all over the place. I felt sorry for the travelling supporters because that was not the standard or quality you would expect from a McKenna team. He has to find his best 11 to start a game, instead of chasing a game in the last 25 minutes. [Post edited 18 Oct 12:07]

My only moan about last night on 12:48 - Oct 18 with 1114 views | FrimleyBlue | The lineup on paper was good enough However he'd have seen them in training this week, I can't for a second believe at training on Wednesday half that side looked fit and ready to play the game at the pace required.

My only moan about last night on 12:56 - Oct 18 with 1092 views | gainsboroughblue | The line up wasn't the problem, it's how we played and failed to react and adapt. We are just slow, predictable and careless in possession. I'm watching the QPR v Millwall game at the moment and based on last night, both these teams would have us right under the cosh. We have the players but we seem so within ourselves away from home at least.

My only moan about last night on 13:11 - Oct 18 with 1037 views | mellowblue | McK has bought a playmaker in Nunez that he does not know how to integrate into the lineup as defensively he is not ideal in a dual pivot midfield at a tough gig like Bro away. Makes no sense.

It was the same team that beat Norwich and other than the Greaves/Kipre debate, pretty much our settled line up.

The same team that beat a pitiful Norwich team in free fall. I still think McKenna should have changed the team and instructed the defenders to stay put and defend

There’s a very easy answer to that. We don’t go man to man. We defend in zones and teams find it fairly easy to play through us at the moment because of it. Through the middle of the pitch anyway, the defence is a bit more robust (but obviously prone to a brain farts, as are most defences at this level). She’s probably right, but we’re not going to change for anyone. I admire that. It shows confidence in what we can do rather than worrying about the opposition and it’s the better approach when we’re on our game. Not so good when we’re not on it though. And she’s got a hot accent lol. I’m a sucker for accents 🤣 PS. You can see why we wanted Hackney. He’d be perfect next to Matusiwa, whereas Cajuste isn’t imposing himself. [Post edited 19 Oct 19:29]

Must admit when you watched Hackney it made no sense we followed up with cajuste. Massively different physical abilities and not quite a plan B to Hackney.

You asked "why did not McKenna play the best team from the beginning"? He played what is universally accepted as our best starting eleven (Kipre/Greaves debate aside).
