Easily should be starting ahead of Szmodics and Akpom and now they’re both injured.

Bizarre.

Who has?

Sammie? Greaves? O’Shea? Mcateer? Ogbenne? Hirst? Taylor? Akpom? .., Johnson? .., anyone? Anyone at all?

What’s the common denominator?

Ashton got his boxing selfies though.., some ego that, when your added value is …, erm .., yeah.

Says it all. EGO.

On the ball city! Never mind the league table!

I’d focus on your miserable shower if I were you rather than sitting there in your damp trolleys sniping at my club. We’ve enough t problems of our own without your ……….’contributions’.

but thats modern football thesedays, youre part of a squad, we rotate, some of you will sit on the bench, some of you will get subbed, some of you are back ups, I dont get why people dont understand that, there really is no such thing as a first 11 anymore.

I don't get why over 300 people have seen your comment (to date) and I'm the only one to upvote it.

Football console games are so realistic these days that people forget that in real life players are human and are not just good, average or "get rid". Players generally get their chance to shine at some point in the season and they have to take their chances when they come up - it's the same for all of us in general. It doesn't always work out, look at Omari.

Life's a bit like that - those who do well in life generally do so because they think they have earned it all though intelligence and hard work. That counts for a lot but a good dose of bad luck can scupper anyone's plans.

Yep, my comments are a bit disjointed... I think I'm probably replying to any comment about modern football and wondering why people get so wound up about most of it.

‘Chaplin decision’ or ‘Chaplins decision’? That ‘s’ makes a huge difference, because we were told that Chappers asked to go as he wanted game time, something which at the time KM wasn’t willing to promise him. I think that was reasonable at the time, given that for the last part of our promo season he wasn’t a regular (iirc). KM, who saw him every day in training, clearly thought that he’d reached his ceiling and was looking for something better.

Given that he’s not playing in his. Best position and some fans are questioning him at Pompey I reckon KM might be right. We all loved Chappers (inc KM by the sounds of things) but who could have guessed these things would turn out. KM is a good manager, who lives and dies by his decisions. Sadly he can’t yet see into the future!

Poll: Right now, who would you rather have as Prime Minister?
