Not bad for the worst defender of all time.

RIP Sir Bobby

He was good but at one point late in the second half, under no pressure, passed the ball straight to one of their central midfielders which resulted in us back-pedalling for the next couple of phases of play.

Good yes, outstanding. Not for me.

It's 106 miles to Portman Road, we've got a full tank of gas, half a round of Port Salut, it's dark... and we're wearing blue tinted sunglasses.

A mis-placed pass?!

Put him in stocks outside Portman road for a week!

This is a pretty poor league this year and I think we have every chance of going up with a little improvement. However at times our passing was awful - from a number of players. We don’t seem to have the patterns of play we used to. Hopefully this will come, but a more settled team would help. I hope Walton, the backline and Taylor keep their places and Nunez gets a start at 10 from the beginning

I didn't say that, it would be ridiculous.
I just challenged your assertion that he was 'outstanding'.

I thought he was OK at best, until we scored and then proceeded to win pretty much everything in the air.

Also I hope Kipre gets a run of games.

He's a very good defender in general and he had a decent game.

However, when he makes a misplaced pass straight to their midfielder when he is under no pressure whatsoever, how can you seriously claim that he was outstanding?

Those sort of misplaced passes, which he wasn't the only player guilty of, can sometimes lead to opposition goals. We need to stop giving the ball away so easily, it's sloppy.

Kipre was the better defender again, how the word "outstanding" is used these days is baffling.

Might not be the "best" defenders, but I'd say Kipre / O'Shea is the strongest CB pairing we've had at the club in a good few years.

So you've gone from one ridiculous analysis to the other.

He's not the worse defender of all time (come on, Nsiala anyone???) Nor was he outstanding on Saturday.
