25/26 Oxford United Away Match Sales 'Profile' 16:16 - Oct 28 with 2281 viewstommcd

The Oxford fixture sold out in the 30+ Window and given how quickly it sold-out in that Window, its likely to remain so. The Sales 'Profile' for the fixture follows:

Summary:

The Club announced an allocation of 1476 tickets had been provided, the seatmap count matched that.

- The Club retained a total of 203 seats for Club allocation, steward use and to cover the ballot (probably circa 30 tickets for the ballot).

- There were 26 wheelchair / assistant seats.

- A total of 1247 tickets were made available for purchase across Member Sales windows.

All blocks were available from the beginning of the Sale.

Per Window Sales:

- 832 (66.72% of available seats) seats sold in the 35+ window.

- 415 (33.28%) seats sold in the 30+ window

Points of Note:

* The 35+ Window sees a significant increase in sales for this sale.

* Since the QPR sale (3 sales ago, also a very high demand) the numbers in 35+ have grown significantly, which probably accounts for a large element of the drop in sales numbers in 30+ over the Swansea / Hull sales.

* Friday evening kick-offs not being as unpopular as Tuesday, with a small allocation, would suggest that the 35+ sales should be fairly indicative of how many members there are at that end of the spectrum.

* I've been messing around trying to find alternative ways to present the data graphically, there's a couple of new charts below.

Graphical Comparison:

I said the other day there’s probably around 850 on 35+ now, and so it’s proved.

At least that.

I'm 35+ but don't buy until 30+ so I can be seated with mates. Not sure I'll risk that for much longer, especially on the low allocations.

Personally i think 203 is far too many to be giving away to club allocation etc when the allocation is only 1476. Not sure if that's the normal amount but smaller allocations like this need to be taken into account

Yep, that’s true.

I’m on 34, so my next purchase (Leicester) will put me on 35, but my mate is one behind, so I’ll have to wait for 30+ as well.

And my other mate is stuck on 28, and is starting to lose ground.

I have ended up having to take the boy out of school for half a day to hull so i could make sure he was on 30 points for the oxford sales as i was twitchy given the low allocation. I’m glad i did

There's probably now over 1,000 in on 35+ now so for smaller allocations like this it's almost a closed shop for the top pointers.

Pompey will be 'interesting' as they'll easily be more people on 35+ than the allocation. Expect that will be the first game with a 40+ bracket.

Depends if Portsmouth give us the full end (2800), or half (1400).

Got a feeling it might be 1400.
