He really should have taken time out after spurs and should do know. He’d have relegated Tottenham last year if the promoted clubs had accrued points like they are this year.

He would tell you he prioritised the Europa League, which is fairly obvious.

It wouldn't have been much different finishing 14 rather than finishing 17th would it? He didn't have to worry about relegation from around February onwards realistically.

Which in the end he succeeded and gets praise for that, if but a bit lucky.

However, to win only 1 of your last 12 (only 2 draws), that win being Southampton at home, is not a great record even for someone concentrating on another club. Then look at Forest.

In the last 22 games, he won 4 games and drew 3 and lost 15. He's just lucky the promoted teams were so rubbish it didn't matter.

My very basic view of Ange….great man manager and motivator, diabolical tactician

 "diabolical tactician"

 Really?

I mean, he's won the Asian Cup, Europa League, Scottish League titles and Cups, Japanese and Oz titles.

I mean, hardly diabolical is he?

 Shocking record, agreed.

But I don't think he was 'lucky' the promoted teams were rubbish - or at least if he was it was only as lucky as the other sides down there were - United, Brentford, West Ham etc. He knew they we were rubbish and had enough points in the bank not to have to worry about us (or Leicester) too much.

Yeah, true. I guess this view is a touch extreme, but he does seem awful to me 😆 he does win stuff though

Is that even a necessary requirement in Scotland?

Those last 22 games (over half a season) he can't have known how bad we were all going to be. Wolves finished above them in the end and they were bad for the first 3/4 months.

I suppose I'm saying in the end, we and the the other 2 were so bad, he didn't even need to try and win in the league....! Most other seasons they'd have been a least a real possibility of going down so may not have been able to prioritise (as much anyway).

well one of the reasons he doesnt have that job anymore is because its not the Spurs manager job to finish 4th from bottom in the league (and with a points tally that actually usually means relegation), win a cup, and everythings super fandabidozi.

this seasons Spurs have nearly accumulated half the points they get from 38 games in 9.

presumably this is why despite all the trophies he's won, the Celtic board arent falling over themselves to appoint him instead
