I don't say this for good wishes, but I've always felt like the Ipswich results nearest to my birthday have almost always been favourable (a win or a draw).

Just checked with ChatGPT and I'm right in the last 10 years at least (it couldn't do 20). In that time we've had 8 wins or draws and only 2 defeats on the game nearest to Nov 1st. So things look good for today!
