Would have thought they'd need an experienced fire-fighter type to keep them up. Imagine Martin needs a certain type of player to play his possession football... and is possession football able to get you out of a relegation scrap?
And reading some comments.... he's not a popular choice with many.

Martin would be an absolute 'Lambert' of an appointment. Lazy, inflexible, utterly lacking in ability to take responsibility for his mistakes and thinks he a far better manager than he actually is. Take away his (arguably) fortunate promotion in 23/24 his record is very, very average.

I would love them to stay up, finishing around 18th to 21st for the next 3 decades, only to finally drop into L1 , L2 and finally out of the league altogether in consecutive years coinciding with the last years of my life.
