... the team which starts tonight will probably be the team which starts against Coventry?

Because for me it's the obvious thing to do. But clearly it's not for you. Why do you think differently?

Because both of those sides will have a different game plan and set up against us differently. We may therefore use the right players at the right time against each side. Besides after Two more tough away games, we are likely to have picked up injuries and or more fatigue.

Fair play. Let's see what happens.

I expect a strong starting XI and a 2+ goal win tonight.

No, winning at coventry is no good if we don't win tonight really, so lets concentrate on tonight

That's sort of my thinking. Field arguably our strongest starting XI tonight, rest a bunch of them against Blackburn and go again with a strong XI against Coventry.

If we believe what the manager says, he won’t think about the Coventry game till after Tuesday

There's an element of this but it's also as simple as McKenna changes about 6 players each time there is a double game week. Therefore we are likely to go with a similar team to last Saturday and play that again next Saturday with midweek playing a similar team to Tuesday night.

OP: id say based on current form of the manager, thats its highly unlikely itll be the same team.

Injuries aside, I think it'll be almost exactly the same team.

That said, I think you're closer to the club than me, and I have no problem eating humble pie... if I have to.
