| Lucky to have KM at the helm, let's get right behind him and the team today (n/t on 13:54 - Dec 6 by NthQldITFC | Anyone who doesn't think KMc has enough credit in the bank to ensure unconditional support after a few rocky months after a total rebuild has lost the plot as far as I'm concerned. Edit: I think I might be misinterpreting intent here, sorry. You're speaking against the implied criticism of KMc, aren't you? [Post edited 6 Dec 13:58]

I think it's a delicate balance when it comes to McKenna and people are taking extreme views on both sides which is creating unnecessary division. Some think he can't do wrong and should not be questioned; others seem to think his time is up and is one game from the sack. The truth is somewhere in-between, so over defence or over attack is going to cause debate and friction which isn't needed right now.

OK, I get it. For what it's worth I think he's a great manager who is persisting with trying to bring an entire squad up to speed with the whole season in mind at the expense, perhaps, of results right now, but as we're still close to second place that's not too much of an issue. I might prefer we'd tried a few different things and maybe made fewer changes, but I reiterate: anyone who think his time is up and is one game from the sack has lost the plot, and that noise is very, very unhelpful and is not (on these timescales) what being a football supporter has traditionally been about.

Nobody has said at any time ‘he can’t do wrong and should not be questioned’. They (and me) might take a positive view on McKenna and his abilities but I seriously doubt anyone fully agrees with every action or utterance. As for this ‘superfan’ nonsense, beyond the Portsmouth weirdo with the tattoos and hat I’m not sure what one of those is. Plenty home and away ready to dish up abuse towards the keeper and anyone else and certainly not interested and any plea to leave the players alone from McKenna or anyone else. Lucky or not lucky, I think the dismals wet dream will be realised and McKenna will be gone before or at seasons end. Divided support means he’s lost the support. I doubt it’ll be recovered whatever happens. For a manager at a smaller club like ITFC, that’s terminal.

I think he's got time to turn it around. I think the fanbase is more behind McKenna now than it was after the 0-0 draw at Bristol Rovers in 22/23.

This will happen to him wherever he goes and all managers experience it at some point. Think you are being somewhat OTT
