Made a few mistakes … of course (or maybe it was just my blue tinted glasses) but he let the game flow, and was happy to keep his book in his pocket.

So much better than when every strong challenge is penalised.

I think it was a fairly easy game to ref but agree that he did do well.

Missed a few things for both sides but was consistent and let the game flow (as far as the ref had any control over that).

People seem to be saying that so I would have to see it again. I didn't think that at the time so I must have thought it was a foul and a booking reasonable in the circumstances.

Surprised by that review. He was VERY fussy and giving free kicks for not very much (both ways to be fair) for long spells then he'd have the odd spell where he let everything go. Very inconsistent and not great at all, imo.

Thought he was a bit crap to be honest.

Couldn't make up his mind on what counted as a foul or not which led to a lot of inconsistent decisions and he seemed to be in the way quite a lot, or certainly more than most refs - several times players were having to dribble round him or dodge him to keep stride.

Didn't have any major decisions to make and we won so that's usually enough for a positive review for most people though.

2 minutes injury time in the second half was a welcome (minimal) addition. Apart from the substitutions dont remember too many delays
