….decent effort.

Not sure they’ll need the whole ground open though.

Fill yer boots.

Fair play to Blackpool, too, for agreeing to the pricing (I assume it's still by agreement, these days?).

Shrewsbury are far from happy with Wolves offering cheap tickets:

The rules have changed & ticket pricing is now set by the home club, subject to a £10 minimum. The rule change was designed to stop small clubs "cashing in" when drawn away to a giant, by insisting on high ticket prices. Both clubs get 45% each of match receipts, with 10% going into the FA Cup prize pool.

Well done to the FA for stopping the small clubs cashing in once in a while . Would hate for there to be a wholly unfair lopsided financial landscape in football.

Agreed. These small clubs need to stop trying to exploit the system.

Yes, those pesky small clubs:

I don't mind a small club trying to argue for, say, £20 tickets for their big pay day. One has to wonder whether this was put in place to stop the small clubs 'cashing in', or with more of a view to allowing big clubs to charge full whack?

You charge £20 you'll get lower attendance, charge £10 you might get closer to double and a better atmosphere, and the away fans can feel like they arent being ripped off and you'll largely make the same amount of cash, as I suspect the main money is the sponsorship/making 3rd round appearance money, or the TV cash, not the ticket sales.
