Agree. Much more time on the ball here than in the championship. Wonder if they could get a loan at a lower level champ team. E.g could improve a bottom 6 team like Nodge 😉

I think that is what he needs. Higher than league one when he was at Wycombe. If he can help any lower team keep a good gap to the scum that would be really helpful

He was good enough when we had few options this year.
Plus Akpom and Macateer have been consistently poor

But again in the case of Humphreys (for whom I am a big advocate), whom should he have played instead of? We can't just be throwing players into the mix just to gain a bit of experience, especially when the team is struggling to "click", so the front-liners need the maximum time together, and playing catch-up on a slow start to the season.

I do think he's been hampered by us going out of the League Cup in the first round. That's several games where he could have made an impact, but which never happened.
