Started my girls snowboarding at 8 and 10 after they'd skied once. My friend got his son started age 4 and he rips!

No, but I did ski for well over 30 years. It’s a great thing to do and wonderful for children, if they take to it.
I’ve seen children on skis not much beyond walking age (I’m guessing locals) but 3-4 years old is meant to be about the minimum. Most kids (and adults) I saw learned to ski first (in the Americas). I’m not sure why, not least because by the time Boardriding became fashionable, I’d already learned to ski.

Merry Christmas, I live about 90 mins away,lots of snow up there at the moment with about half the slopes open now
Good skiing but small,like most resorts it all depends on how much snow,last winter was bumper and the slopes were still open until April. | | | |
