Absolutely brilliant performance tonight, best of the season as many have said. I’m sure we don’t get that performance if the 4 enforced changes hadn’t had as much game time as KM has given them and the whole squad so far this season. KM always looking out for the longer term benefit of the club and willing to shoulder criticism in the short term to do so. Whether it was the right approach or not it has the potential to pay off now. More by luck than judgment we are within touching distance of the top 2, and compared to the other teams around us our key players (particularly those in that front 4) have played noticeably less minutes than the key players of the teams we are competing with up there, which in the 2nd half of the season should result in less injuries for said players, and less general fatigue in the closing months of the season. | | | |
