They were charging up up the table a few weeks ago, now gone 5 without a win/3 points from 15, and lodged firmly in midtable.
Leicester losing again too, they are incredibly inconsistent, and massively underperforming when you look at their squad.
Looking at the table more generally, it is now gradually being stretched out a bit, where a few weeks ago it felt like there were only a few points between teams at the bottom and the top 6. [Post edited 1 Jan 19:06]

It is brilliant to be 10, 11 and 12 points clear of the other parachute money sides as I thought they would be our main challengers for promotion. This is a very unusual season in that respect.
They said on Sky that there could be seven parachute money sides in the Championship next season, so I presume Sheff Utd get the money for a third year if they don't go up this season. That is a big incentive for us to go up this season! |  | | |

Sky were lying. This season is Sheff Utds last for parachute payments (2 years if you are relegated after one season in the PL, otherwise its 3 years payments). |  |

Yeah, the stars are very much aligning for Ipswich this year, to have a decent but not spectacular year and still go up comfortably. You could say perform as expected and go up automatically, maybe a tad harsh but it's not far from the truth when you think we're now on second place despite the season being only a 6/10 or at best 7/10 so far.
Ps Watford do worry me slightly but hopefully they will revert to the mean [Post edited 1 Jan 22:22]

King Power really struggled through lockdown and Corona due to the nature of their business, duty free airport goods, and they're having to strip back now and Leicester are really suffering due to that.
