| Hull v Watford on 15:22 - Jan 4 by Dubtractor | This isn't extreme weather though, is it? It's just a bit of frost, not even extreme low temperatures either. I agree with you argument if we'd seen a load of snow, or -10 degrees, as our infrastructure isn't set up for that. |
No, that's the point. For the UK it is.......anywhere else though.

| Hull v Watford on 15:16 - Jan 4 by homer_123 | You forget, the UK simply isn't geared up for any kind of extreme weather. Airports, rail all shut with a flurry of snow or ice. Why would sports be any different? |
i guess all the schools will be closed tmorrow,as all oustide areas will be deemed "unsafe"

List the ground stops at English airports today? It’s not extreme weather in the slightest, it’s January. Hull had fans in the ground and a playable pitch it was 1c at kick off but some frost surrounding the pitch called it off. That’s just embarrassing! It’s there loads of snow and it’s -10 outside I’ll give it to you because UK doesn’t spend the money preparing that because it’s a fairly rare event but a bit of frost and a dusting of snow should not bring everything to a standstill.

Every premier league game is on as presumably they basically have to be, unless the situation is truly extreme. Clubs need to be forced to do more to ensure games can safely take place, including in the top 2 divisions (ant least) investing in the right infrastructure.
