In a game years ago I signed young player from Man U initial on loan and them permanently who led Ipswich too many league and European trophies ..... Paul Scholes

FM23 produced a great youngster, turned greatest player I've ever seen in any game, ever.
I signed him up 3 years into his existence in the game, after a double promotion AND narrow survival in the premier league, where I failed to win any of my final 13 games (No win after January that season. I survived with 38 points and finished 16th), I decided I needed a new striker, because I would be finished without one.
Here comes 18 year old Colombian, Stiven Viáfara, one of the newgen players that was only created into existence 3 seasons ago.
Straight into the team, despite sub-optimal stats at the time.
He quickly turns into the best player in the world, with the most outrageous stats I've ever seen in any player ever.
22 goals in 41 appearances in all competitions in his first season.
In total?
931 appearences in all competitions, including the 132 times he came off the bench.
850 goals.
In the league?
606 appearances
568 goals.
AND, he TWICE managed 51 goals in a single Premier League season.
Annoyingly, the first time he did this, Haaland went and got 52 the very next season.
This ALL includes the time I played on this save on FM24 as well.
Absolutely insane numbers from this legend. He also has had the personality of a model professional for the last 10 years. He was broken. |  | | |

I think mine are probably from 97/98 when it was still Championship Manager.

The game and player that sparked my love of Norwegian football and the ongoing FM series.
97/98 had a Bradford striker called Ole Sundgot, absolute goal machine who now managers in Norway. Also Mons Ivar Mjedle, another striker who knew where to find the net and not to forget Taribo West for the back. [Post edited 10 Jan 12:13]

This year's game I signed a guy called Cristian Shpendi (Albanian/Italian) from Cesena in the Italian Serie B for £6m.
Scored me 20+ goals and fired me to Premier League where I then sold Shpendi for £20m and bought Strand Larsen from Wolves (who got relegated) who also got me 20 goals in the Prem and help me finish 4th in my 1st season up.
The new game is pretty rubbish though. It's buggy and the financing is so unrealistic - seemingly allow me to spend crazy money in installments when in real life they'd bandkrup the club, wheras other clubs in the prem seemingly plod along.
