People can't afford food, so it does look like this could be the end. Quite different to when it is a ideological difference.
We'll likely see it get worse before it gets better though. Checked in with my Iranian colleagues today. Unsurprisingly they can get in touch with family.
Interestingly, a big eye opener was they invest all this money to be able to stand up to Israel (as they see it). But got totally owned. So now huge parts of the population are thinking, why is all this money going to arms, proxies, and so on, when I can't eat and we don't get the result the leaders claim. |  |

Problem is, the IRGC - who have been profiting from a lot of that expenditure - will fight tooth and nail to keep their position. |  |
