Think we need to be careful and not blow a load of cash for the sake of it like with Mcateer (not his fault!).
We are strong in all areas. Burns is basically like the recruitment team finding an ideal low cost winger and signing him. Lovely stuff.
Cairney would be a good addition and if you can get someone of that sort of quality great. Ditto if we could get a quality striker at low cost then also great. But not the end of the World if we go as we are. It's just mainly the boring element of it and as fans we just like to see one. |  |

There is no point guessing. After a summer of max disruption, we find ourselves competing at the right end of the table, it’s been hard to get to this position. The table it set to an extent for this season, there isnt time to integrate and hope a number of new players find their feet.

I think we need a big window to ensure we get over the line. The standard of The Championship will surely not be this poor again, and if we don't go up this year it is possible we get stuck for a few seasons. Cover for Matisuwa a must, as well as CB cover if Baggott goes out on loan. In an ideal world we sign with Prem in mind - but we need to get there, so deals for the likes of Wilson and Cairney make sense - even if they are not 'the future'. |  |

I think confirmation we didn't pay anything £12 mil would massively help the lad. No need to disclose the figure. I really would like to think you are right. The fact nobody disputed the figure and multiple sources ran with it + it was enough to mean Leicester didn't have to sell the expected other players made me think it must be correct. Not sure it would help McAteer at all if the club effectively came out and said "don't worry guys, we know you are all moaning about Casey, but we didn't pay anywhere near what you think we did for him, so he's not the waste of money you think he is."
I think the fans getting off his back and not slagging him off would help him massively (that's not aimed at you, btw). |  |

9 is an absolute must, 10 feels pretty vital, and cover for Azor if we can find the right one.
They seem the obvious areas, we’ve known that for a little while now, so hopefully we are doing the early work to get them in as soon as possible. |
Don't feel the same about 10. Nunez, Szmodics, Akpom and Egeli all capable and Jack Clarke also an option. That is outstanding quality for the division in that are aif the pitch.
We don't utilize a 10 in the same way as with Chaplin i.e. lots of cutbacks and goals that way and I think it makes the output look worse then it is to a degree. I'm confident the 10 position has become less of an issue as players have got more used to our patterns of play and built relationships.
