25/26 Derby County Away Match Sales 'Profile' 11:28 - Jan 19 with 787 viewstommcd

The Derby County fixture has sold out during the 5+ Window (Friday, PM). The sales profile for the fixture therefore follows.

Summary:

The Club announced an allocation of 3127 tickets had been provided. The seatmap ran 10 higher at 3137.

- The Club retained a total of 205 seats for Club allocation and steward use (this does not include any seats retain for the ballot; 62 were initially retained for the ballot, but released to the 5+ window).

- There were 16 wheelchair / assistant seats.

- A total of 2916 tickets were made available for purchase for across Member Sales.

- Blocks EL-I (84 seats), EU-J (149), SL-B (84) and SU-D (147) were not included in the initial sale. EL-I and EU-J were added during the 15+ window, SL-B (84) and SU-D added very early in the 10+ Window.

Per Window Sales:

- ??? (??.??% of allocated seats) sold in the 40+ window (see 'points of note' ).

- 1375 (47.15% of allocated seats) seats sold in the 35+ window (see 'points of note').

- 300 (10.29%) seats sold in the 30+ window

- 229 (7.85%) seats sold in the 25+ window

- 224 (7.68%) seats sold in the 20+ window

- 324 (11.11%) seats sold in the 15+ window

- 398 (13.65%) seats sold in the 10+ window

- 66 (2.26%) seats sold in the 5+ window

Points of Note:

* This fixture is the first to introduce a new 40+ Window. Frustratingly I forgot to grab the numbers at the 40+ to 35+ transition so I don't know the 40+ Window Sales. For this 'Profile' the 35+ numbers are the combination of the 40+ and 35+ windows.

* Growth in 35+ (and above) Windows appears to have picked up again after slowing over the Christmas fixture sales. It will be interesting to see if that continues.

* The two Wrexham fixtures come up next, it'll be interesting to see how they go, twice in 7/8 days may well skew things (suspect many people will go to one or the other, not both).

Damn, the one time we needed the numbers for 40+ haha would’ve been interesting to see those for the upcoming Wrexham games.

interesting that when I bought mine in the 10+ window, there were 3 tickets left, and it quickly showed as sold out afterwards, but clearly there were a lot of tickets in baskets that didn't then get purchased if 66 were sold in 5+ window... just goes to show that its worth hanging around and refreshing in those windows, even if it appears sold out, as people do clearly put tickets in baskets and not complete purchasing.

Particularly worth keeping an eye out in the early stages of the 5+ window if the 'sell-out' happened in the 10+ Window or very few tickets made it to 5+. There have been a few sales where rather than run the ballot, the ballot tickets are simply released for sale in the 5+ Window instead.

In this sale, there were 4 tickets that made it through from 10+ to 5+, but within 10mins or so of the 5+ window opening the ballot-retained tickets (62) were 'released' into the normal sale.

Ah, that makes more sense than 60 odd tickets being in baskets and not being completed.
