Good use of the word “Schemer” in Neil article, Phil 19:55 - Jan 24 with 545 viewsMatt_Netherlands

Makes me wonder who else in the current squad we’d class as Schemer?

Taylor
J Clarke
Nunez

All seem to fit the bill…. Undecided on Azor.

Azor definitely is. Probably the best at it in our side.

Dreadful use of vocabulary from the educated Mr Ham. I put schemer alongside the 'nails on chalkboard' use of 'glovesman'.

Poll: Are we too predictable to play against?

I've never heard of the use of "schemer" in terms of a midfielder before until I saw it in TWTD. And i got Shoot magazine in the 70's and 80's. It's a Phil Ham thing.

I wonder if he's wandering around his Publishing House singing a schemer version of Supertramp's "Dreamer". Nothing but a schemer.
