I'm not sure that's fair. They crowded us out the game but they weren't 'thugs' or 'cowardly'

There are some games when you simply have to score first and get your foot in. This was one of them. The Blades made more out of the first goal in that they stirred the crowd up by making more out of Waltons challenge. Ultimately the next 10 minutes got the better of us.

I hate us losing, but enjoyed the game as a one off. It was the kind of game that English football was renowned for years ago. A real swashbuckling affair. I would have been proud for us to win it too. We weren't too far away really. We missed a lot of good chances. Cooper had a fine match in their goal. |  | | |
