Prior to today's game based on prestons recent scorelines and our recent home form.

Would you want to be hyped up. Told to go out. Be confident and get at them and get another 3 home points

Or to hear they will be a tough opponent. A tough fixture. Be careful etc etc.

I appreciate theres truth in both and I appreciate that you don't want complacency.

I guess its a personal choice on what you'd prefer but I personally would be part of the group buzzing for the game after last week to put things right against a side on poor form. Rather than worrying about how they are going to be a strong opponent. I dont that needs to be said its a given really.

I just find it personally quite counter productive to be so negative prior to a game.

If Frimmers did the team talk it would be so much better. You can tell from all his brain farts on here!

He’d have to actually be near the stadium first, or maybe he’ll just use Zoom?

Football teams go on bad runs and surprise surprise they stop that and have good runs.
That's football, they're human it's not a PlayStation game.

Preston actually have a good away record, they have only lost away 4 times (so far) which is as good as any team in the league.

Re your second para - anyone who gave PNE’s league table results a one-minute look pre-match would know that.

Sadly, not many seem to do so for any opposition!
