Just saw Hearts lost. Bit annoying in terms of wanting somebody to break the Old Firm (Celtic mainly) winning run.

Hearts played for over an hour with ten men and only conceded a couple of minutes from normal time...and they had to get out of Paisley late at night, that would play on anyone's mind...Still six points clear of Celtic but that will probably be just the three later on.

Scottish fans seem pretty good at coming up with catchy chants and they sing them with passion which makes them even better.

We've adopted this from Hibs for Jens but it doesn't really work and isn't sung with much in the way of passion.

And I'm not sure if they invented it, but this is great.

What we say is "Jens Cajuste" which just doesn't scan, and so completely lessens the impact of the chant.

Yep, agreed. People tend to trip over it a bit don't they! We've been noticeably quieter this season. I've only been at away games and considering the numbers we still take we should/could be doing much better. It's just little pockets of noise that tend to cancel each other out, if not confuse and kill each other off.

I've only been at away games and considering the numbers we still take we should/could be doing much better. Our away fans were brilliant last season despite how poorly we performed and it is the case that there has been a noticeable drop-off this season.

Let's hope it improves at Derby (where I will be) because the team needs it.

Another curious thing for me is that we rarely these days sing anything at corners (home or away), not even a "Come on You Blues", although there was one half-hearted attempt at it on Saturday.

Rangers will be the main threat to Hearts imo. Which is quite remarkable considering the headstart Russell Martin gave the rest of the challengers.
