Some bloke on our row lambasted Kasey because Mehmeti lost possession on their box. Summed up his critics nicely I thought. Neil is someone I’d sign permanently- his cameo showed that even if we don’t go up he’ll be quality in the middle. He brings a better balance than Taylor’s Jack of all trades gap filler abilities.

Mehmeti got in a muddle a couple of times, but it looked to me like he was expecting more options. Although he’s only just arrived, I think it’s more a case that we need to get used to him rather than the other way round. He’s a move ahead of the rest of them in his head. He looks like a superb signing. So positive, knows when to carry and when to release, good in tight spots, chases down with enthusiasm. Why the eff did Bristol let him go? |  |
