To be fair its intentions were good - to try and limit pointless friendlies by making such matches more competitive as they count towards the rankings for the Euros and WC draws.

Basically the exactly same draw as the first Nations League with Czechs thrown in now groups are expanded from 3-4. And that went well - we won 3-2 IN SPAIN!
