Yeah. Crap. Us lot to the north can go via Norwich and the time difference is negligible, but for all the work they do on that East Suffolk Line it's slower now between Lowestoft and Ipswich than when I first started going to Portman Road in 1968.
I reckon for the distance involved it must be the slowest train in the country.

Yeah we were thinking of a train trip for a change ( in part due to the A12 roadworks) but ditched the idea when we found out it was buses!... theres really nothing sustainable about getting from Lowestoft to Ipswich atm!
