Bloody hell! Just seen the penalty decision - that is OUTRAGEOUS 23:18 - Mar 10 with 2121 viewsunstableblue

Simply can’t believe it

Yes Saturday’s decision was awful - a double foul on someone in on goal ready to score

Awful

But that was a poor ref bottling a big decision

This was just a ref making stuff up

The ref had a line of sight, there is virtually no contact

Can’t believe it

Have to say the lack of discussion on this on the forum sums up the season

We've been here befor: Middlesbrough will balls it up at least three times before the end of the season.

However, because of two referees in a row, we now can only balls it up OR have a duff referee once between now and the end of the season.

They won’t, they are flying now.

Oh Dear Oh Dear.

I'm not even sure that's a soft free kick anywhere else on the pitch either.

Cant excuse the terrible defending though.

Its almost outside forces at play for that 5 second sequence!!!

There was far more contact on Azon in the build up to their goal which wasn’t given , despite the clear shirt pull then clatter from behind. That was near the half way line.

You would think as a ref, you would be on high alert for simulation at 2-3 in injury time, as any contact people are going down. But no, scandalous really

The only Muff in Town.

Theoretically, refereeing errors even themselves out over a season. Fans always notice the big decisions that go against their team. And yes, the fact that automatic promotion is now looking a big ask is down to the fact that our overall performances over the course of the season so far haven't been good enough. But these 2 poor decisions near the end of consecutive games is hard to swallow right now.

But decisions don't even out and there's no reason why they should or would. It's perfectly possible that you keep getting poor decisions against you and none or very few in your favour.

They've failed to win three of their last five games.
