Our rotation capability over the next nine mahoosive games 19:57 - Mar 19 with 935 viewsunstableblue

Walton remains ever present

Furlong remains ever present (at least Johnson is getting real game time on left if needed), now yellow card free, for now

OShea remains ever present

Greaves holds the place until Kipre returns, and is a strong rotate option

**Johnson holds the place until Davis returns - this could be a key position where we need depth given Saturday and the Millwall winger. Enforced rotation under the spotlight

Matusiwa remains ever present, yellow card ban breathing room

**Neil seems to be preferred, but we need the Derby performance going forward, Taylor for me provides some good rotation strength (but can have off days). Cajuste has just not performed.

**Burns was holding the place, how is the injury? is Egeli going to build on some recent goals? Can he hit form and provide a strong rotation. Unsure. Despite dissenters McAteer does provide some energy and pressing. May still prove influential, but doesn’t seem a replacement starter.

Mehmeti holds the place with Nunez still out, need Nunez back to give us rotation. Akpom, Egeli and Clarke provide further rotation options.

Clarke holds the place, and seems set to start again Saturday. Fantastic boost that Philogene returns, can he get fully fit and last the 9 game blitzed. Could be pivotal.

**Azon seems to be holding the preferred place, expect he’ll start again Saturday. Are we seeing form emerging from Hirst and Akpom - if this three could start to find goals and be rotated effectively - it could be out cheat code.

Walton, Furlong, OShea and Matusiwa fixed. Kipre and Davis will come back in and be fixed - potential for Greaves to still rotate in or hold place.
All other positions rotatable.
That large and expensive squad is suddenly feeling right sized. But for me **four positions where even with rotation question marks remain.

Saturday is huge - bring your A game people. Let’s hope these fringe Town players do.

So your rotation strategy is that most people hold their place?

That’s a lot of words to say keep doing what we’ve done all season

Yup… that’s the long and short of it MPH

Don’t think you can’t not rotate the left mid, and attacking 4, given number of games packed in

Have no idea of Millwalls depth. Certainly Boro have it.

Business end of season. You put as many of your best players in their rightful positions on the pitch as you can. Don't care if they're a bit jaded for their summer hols.

All this rotation thing. Most players don't play 95 mins every game. It's 60-65 and 30-35 mins.

I just it a bit fascinating how there are some players that we have to sub after 60 mins as if they'll collapse a minute longer on the pitch and then there's players like Matusiwa and Leif and O'Shea and Furlong who have to play every minute. Where's the logic in that?

I think he should still start on the bench Saturday… just ease him back in, let Clarke tire them out

But I agree with you for the rest of the season he should start home and away

I just don’t think that’s what McKenna will do
