Something seems to have gone wrong with TWTD forum. For some inexplicable reason the FOOTBALL SECTION has completely disappeared, and been replaced with ramblings of a political nature.

Where has the football section gone??

Thanks in advance of a hoped for return to normality on this once great FOOTBALL FORUM!

Posts about an event hosted by the football club, about which the football club lied, are not about football?

Weird flex on the capital letters too.

I’m confused. You’ve contributed to 5 threads about the Farage visit in the past 24 hours, within the football section.

You only posted negative sh!t in the football section anyway, so it's probably a good thing it's gone.

Trust the process. Trust Phil.

Right there you have your finger on the problem.

This is now a football related incident. The FOOTBALL club thought it was a smart idea to let Farage do his party political broadcast with the FOOTBALL clubs brand. They have to own it now.

That response is about as intelligent as I expected.

In all seriousness it probably is worth looking at adding a politics tab. Theres a good percentage of threads these days that would fall under that category and 99% of the time those threads then turn into full arguments, with further threads created as a result.

It’s been said before but there’s many people on here who want to discuss football and other general topics without being hit with constant politics.

Nobody has a life outside of politics. Even if someone is not directly involved in politics it still effects every portion of daily life, directly or indirectly.

Would it change anything in this instance, when its an issue concerning the football club?

It's the main article on the TWTD home page with another one a bit lower down.

It has also been reported nationally and internationally which presumably has implications for the reputation of the club.

As a result, it's difficult to argue that it is not football-related.

Of course in this instance it’s both. But at least by putting in politics section, those that don’t want to discuss this further (and all other political related posts) can enjoy twtd without it covering the entire forum.

It doesn’t take anything away from those that still want to discuss it.
