Not really. There is a story here that the leader of a political party, whose views divide opinion (as do all political views), hijacked a stadium tour for publicity. Which he got. As far as my former colleagues on the national Press are concerned, the news agenda moved on after 24 hours and the only reason this is still resonating is because of the horrified reaction (real or invented) to it. Sit down, have a cuppa and it will pass. But remember that every time you post about being horrified etc, you are keeping the story going.

The club brought the politics in to football when they allowed that visit and the following social media posts to happen. There is no separating it currently unfortunately.
