It’s utterly absurd what people are suggesting isn’t it.
He’s the best chairman we’ve had for a long time. We drive him out then who knows maybe McKenna follows and then some of the players. And all driven because some of our fan base are angry that a politician they don’t support has had lunch with our chaorman. It’s almost impossible to fathom.

Exactly this. Massive errors have been made. Ashton however has literally dragged this club from looking at lower mid table in League One to the Premier League. He was instrumental in bringing the best young coach along with some exciting talent to the club. The work that has been undertaken from stadium to training ground and plans that are currently underway for the future of the club, are down to him. This really does seem a pivotal crossroads for the club, careful decisions must be made.
