| Do we want to get promoted? 11:46 - Mar 27 with 528 views | hunty21 | Or do are these the same people that have wanted Mckenna out throughout the season cos clearly this is not helping the team , abd before someone talks about Farage or the Pr disaster I'm not a fan but thats not the issue its the dishonesty which maybe was done wrongly by the media/ communication group who knows? We need clarification and until then I await that and not being fickle calling for change which would damage the structure and lead to a mass exodus of people leaving | | | | |

They have to take responsibility and the owners now have to take a more hands on approach, at least until they're replaced. They have caused the dissent in the squad and amongst the staff. The fans have simply joined them. Trying to hide behind "we all should pull together" simply does not cut it at this point. They've caused the division, they've harmed the club's reputation and, very possibly, financial situation which will cause issues moving forward, they've tarnished everyone associated with the club. Their departure is needed to rebuild. Holding on will cause more damage to the team.

Broadly speaking that is the Clubs values. Should 'promotion' come at the expense of our values? Having espoused values is easy, living by them is key. We have a situation where we've done something that is diametrically opposed to what we stand for as a Club. What happens now dictates what sort of Club we have become. How the Club deals with a situation where something is so out of line and kilter with our published values is the real litmus test. If success comes at any cost - that's not for me. That's not the Ipswich I've grown up with, known and loved.

The answer to that question for me personally is no. Once you've gone down that road it is a very difficult one to come back from.
