I get it. I honestly do. I was as p*ssed, dumbstruck, astonished, offended as anyone.
But that’s the best we’re getting. He’s fronted up, climbed down and apologised. You might not like the sentiment, you might be able to rip the words apart, but that’s it now. There won’t be anymore videos, apologies, statements, resignations or sackings.
You can either meet them in the middle, start to move on, and get back to enjoying your football club again or, sadly, this will end up spoiling something that is such a big, important part of your life. Unfortunately life isn’t perfect, but don’t let this or anyone spoil ITFC for you.

Or we can CHANGE.
We CAN have a club that is open to everyone, devoid of party politics, and not run by exclusively ONE individual to his own ends, his career. And exclusively in his image.
We can have that. It isn’t too much to ask, and it’s what we’ve had for over 100 years.
Empowering and normalising the behaviours will just show it’s ok, it’s fine, and nothing will change.

That’s not who we are, but we will need to stand up and speak out, if those values and competance in executive roles are what we want.
Peoples psychology fascinates me, the Stanford research. 100% of people happy to harm others just to FIT IN and not speak up for what’s right.
Well there is a right and wrong, commercially and eve morally, and being too weak to stand up, not wanting attention, wanting to be liked and have a quiet life.
The cost of all that, is OUR club.
Mark had revealed exactly who and what he is. And sadly he had 100% years executive control, but he is not the money in the room, or the only intellectual capital we can employ.
We do have a choice.
But it needs to stand together and speak out. Hiding won’t solve this.
But but he’s only invaded one country …, maybe if we’re quiet he’ll stop there!!!!
How has empowering egomaniacs ever worked out? Hiding from them? Normalising their behaviours?
We stand together. As a club. For OUR values, including commercial integrity, or we don’t.
