I’m glad we didn’t get more of a “it’s been difficult” response. I trust McKenna to be honest in his reflections, even if he can’t always say it outright, but I think it’s a bit blinkered to take his answer as proof there were no issues at all.
To me, the “no, not really” reads more like “yes, but we’ve dealt with it,” once you strip away the straight-bat press conference setting.
What I’m absolutely sure of is that those in the ‘move on’ denial camp will make it painfully clear they think this means there was never any issue whatsoever - which quite simply isn’t the case. |

It's my opinion.
I haven't seen much discussion about it from anyone other than Ipswich fans. I just mentioned that the fact there were only the local press at the conference today would suggest the rest of the country aren't talking about us anymore.

Where have I said anything about any of that? It's just a rant based on nothing I said. Perhaps you should look at the context of the original discourse with GB and then what I actually wrote. If you're going to make stuff up you should at least specify it's fiction at the start.
