| Remaining fixtures, Town/Rivals, REFRESHED, we’re into the Thunderdome now 17:05 - Apr 3 with 1870 views | unstableblue | What a run-in this is now! What a battle royale indeed. Cov gone. This is now a serious wobble from Brum, and Hackney injury significant, huge win for Millwall - strong players, strong manager, strong character and strong press… they aren’t going away! We need 6 wins at least from 8. And Brum is a MUST win. Norwich are in the play-off mix (wobble today at home to Pompey) and they could do us a favour by slowing Millwall on Monday, before Town play. The EA derby next weekend is a lottery and one potential loss - or huge moment in season! Now I expect them to ‘rest’ a few going into our match, lose at Millwall and be fresh and ready for us on the Saturday. Big 7 days coming up for this group of players, needs characters and players to step up and put us in the driving position! COYB | | | |

Yup, that’s where my head was if Maybe Monday is there last chance? 9 points off?! Problem is with their season gone, the derby win becomes the main goal. I always had it down as a loss though. MUST win Monday.

Partly to see if we can clear the taste of the past 10 days a little, but mostly because if we win I think we have a serious chance of turning the screw quite quickly. And we should win – but I'm wary of Brum, they remind me of Leicester a few weeks ago in that they have very good attackers who can damage you on their day. Hopefully they're pretty downbeat given the way things have tanked for them: their ownership seemed to think promotion wouldn't be a huge problem at the start of the season, they've learned the hard way and let's hope we make it even tougher.

Doubt they will give up until it is definitely over. Southampton's next three games in the league are Wrexham, Derby and Bristol City under Hodgson so why give up?

Whilst I hope they have that mindset, for 1 more game only this season.. I doubt we will get any favours from them on Monday, but tbh it’s time this team went out and showed the league the Ipswich we have seen in spells in games and took control of 2nd place. Coventry are deserving champions but it’s now on us to show we deserve a place back in the premier league..COYB

They’ve got that juggernaut confidence and momentum - circa our league 1 and champ promotions Brilliant manager, players playing above themselves Win Monday and we start to ramp it up… imagine if Millwall falter against our arch rivals and then we win large… would be huge

… sense they’re quite invested in this FA semi and this cup run Assuming their game with Blackburn moves to the 14th April they now match our crazy fixture jam. I agree they’ll have put a lot into their semi at Wembley. But looking at the comparison below will Wrexham be clear of them anyway? I think not, so our game will have meaning to Saints. | Boro injury update from their manager… incl Hackney.. Swansea away on 10:14 - Apr 5 with 272 views | unstableblue | Middlesbrough will still be without three influential players on Easter Monday when they travelled to Swansea, as Kim Hellberg provided a fitness update on Hayden Hackney, Morgan Whittaker and Leo Castledine. Hellberg said: "They are not going to play on Monday. Hopefully a week or two for them. And of course it’s a blow. Hayden's the best player in the league and Morgan is our top goalscorer.“ Town have really missed Burns, Nunez and Philogene. Yet have stayed in mix. Maybe all for Norwich derby. Philogene for Brum.

They changed manger and chose VERY well. Based on their form and last night. They’re the best team in the division right now and with legacy quality too. They’ll be the side to beat. Aside from Wrexham away and the game after their semi which is hopefully us, I see them winning all the others. If they win every game and pushed top 2, I’d be 0% surprised. Although does remind me a little of their fixture backlog 23/24, when they had a great run but had too many games due to the cup games etc We’ll see. If they play like last night, no side including us is competing with them - changing manager has seriously paid off for them, they’ve chosen very well. 8 cup finals where we need to show that level of desire to win.

I think Wembley will be seriously draining for them - albeit we’ll have been away ourselves for a lunchtime kick off at the Hawthorne beforehand. I do think Hull could still miss out, saints as you say are the form team. And I rate Wrexham. Hull fixture below may include a few on the beach teams though. A playoffs of Wrexham, Saints and Boro (with Hackney probably back) is not a nice prospect!
