That second half was a tough old watch! 18:15 - Apr 6 with 470 viewsDubtractor

Really important win though, and we defended well.

Mcateer's best performance for us too.

Hard to understand how we became so very poor in possession second half though, too many really basic errors.

No ne in midfield getting hold of the ball and dictating play imo.

Yup, some really careless passing at times in that second half, Dan Neil, Jack Clarke and even Nunez - all guilty of short misplaced passes or passing without looking.

I thought we looked a tad better once Taylor came in but we lost the midfield second half.

Yeah, that def played a part.

Hopefully Azor is back next week. Azon too tbh, as he links play so much better than Hirst at the moment.

Brum pressing hard (with occasional wrestling) didn't give us any time on the ball. So we got flustered and the passing went awry.

Good Lord! Whatever is it?

I felt it was a function of the fact that we had the lead and didn't want to concede. So players weren't making themselves available up the pitch, apart from Hirst, who was frequently isolated.
