Love the Masters .. I really hope Tommy (Fleetwood) does it,big fan of him.
A general consensus query,do you guys think the Masters is the “easiest” of the majors to win ?
I’ll try and qualify it by taking into account the much smaller field that is again diluted by the invites to players (ex ex ex champs and amateurs) that are not really in with a chance of winning.
Also the weather is generally not links course rain and wind with jungle like rough.

Not a massive golf fan but always love The Masters - think it always seems to signify the start of the lighter nights/better weather and there's been some great tournaments over the years.

Easiest tournament to win? I see where you're coming from but those greens are extremely tough, especially if it stays dry.

I suppose the fact that a guy like Danny Willet can win out of pretty much nowhere could suggest it's the easiest to win, but I'm sure Rory will tell you a different story. It's probably the Major with the most pressure attached.

Bloody love it though, lovely long weekend of sport ahead, the Masters will certainly take some of the nerves for Saturday away.

Would love to see Rose do it myself.

Doesn’t look anything like the easiest to win atm, greens speeding up, wind increasing. Perhaps the only thing that makes it “easier” is that it’s always on the same course, so there’s a familiarity.

I’ll take a Brit winner, Rose preferred, but Fitzpatrick is in good form and Fleetwood often does well at the Majora. Rory would be a rarity if he could retain the title.

Freddie Couples looking to extend his own record of being the oldest player to make the cut.

Obviously very early days but good English and Irish representation at the top of that leaderboard.. nice to see Woodland there too.

Love golf. The Masters is the most prestigious major of the lot. Tommy Fleetwood? Good player, lovely bloke. Won’t win it.

I’d love Justin Rose to do it. Fantastic golf swing, again seems a nice fella.

Easiest of the majors? No, that’s possibly the PGA - the least regarded of the four.

Oh Freddie triple and 2 double bogeys to finish up the round .. yep .. I’m a big Rose fan too .. I recall enjoying his debut in the open and so pleased he managed to live up to expectations after a few years in the wilderness afterwards .. his passion for his Olympics appearance really impressed me to.
