Just back in from a great day beating the budgies but the moment that brought me the most joy was Mckenna getting a rousing rendition of his chant.
I don't feel that he has been fully appreciated by some fans this season, hell some people have been questioning his position. Was nice to see him getting a lot of love that he so richly deserves.

Outside of the premier league we’ve lost 17 games under McKenna in those 3 seasons. 17 of 132. 87% of McKenna’s football league games we’ve come away with something.

He's really had to work at it this season. 23', great, 24' was just magical, but after last seasons reality check, where we, as a Club had just flown too close to the sun too quickly, he's had to rebuild a team, rebuild the confidence, bring fan expectation (being labeled favourites not helping) down to earth, while getting results in the most punishing of divisions. Should this come off, I think it would be, though not as sensational as 24', just as big a success. NOTHING is a given in this league, look around, no mugs from top to bottom as results lately show. The infrastructure that had to be put in for the Prem' is done. The training ground was a building site, it's nearly there. Ashton'gate will pass ( not for some, I know). One more push, from ALL of us, and we'll be in good shape. | | | |

I think he has handled the fans well too tbh.
There have been times when the performances have been a bit lame and the crowd has also dipped and been a bit moany (we are all guilty of it sometimes). He called that out but he always quick to praise the fans when we have an impact on the on pitch performance.
Another promotion on his CV would be a great achievement as you say. | |
